1. Fresh Potted Plants and Flowers Offer More
Check with your local farmer?s market or local flower shop and see what fresh and potted flowers and plants are on sale. Your outdoor porch or patio would look wonderful with potted ferns or fresh flowers on it. Line your steps with them or use them around the perimeter of your patio.

2. Small Pieces Of Furniture Make For a Great Oasis
Instead of huge pieces of furniture on your porch or your patio, why not opt for smaller pieces such as a bistro table and chair set. Or a small table and matching chairs are ideal when it comes to hosting a small party or outing on your porch. Check with your local thrift shop for wonderful bright pieces.

3. Oh What a Fresh Coat Of Paint Will Do!
A fresh coat of paint will do wonders for old furniture. Take a fresh coat of paint and paint old chairs and give them new life. Or grab that sturdy table from the thrift store and give it a great coat of red, yellow or orange. Just a paint job on old furniture will turn what was old and rugged to fresh and new.

4. Accessorize your Outdoor Oasis
Just like your home, your patio or porch should exude warmth, serenity and peace. So do not be afraid to experiment with throw pillows, candles and other accessories that can really transform a porch or patio.
