As a result the immune system also destroys the healthy tissues of the body. Till now there is no explanation as to what causes the immune system to react in that way. One reason might be that some micro-organisms or drugs may cause these changes. The autoimmune disorder results in destruction of one or more types of body tissues, abnormal growth of body organs and changes in the functioning of an organ.

There are different types of autoimmune disorders like Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Psoriasis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Graves Disease, Type 1 Diabetes, and Diabetes. Different types of symptoms are associated with autoimmune diseases where some might include fever, general ill feeling, and fatigue.
